In Madikeri, in the state of Karnataka, three Witnessesa man, his niece, and another femalewere assaulted by a mob while waiting at a bus stop. The police came and took the three Witnesses to the police station and filed charges against them rather than the mob, despite the mobs openly violent and unlawful behavior.
