International Discussions Requests
This is a new Thread to allow Members to request enhancements to the Community. While we would like to make every idea work, time constraints and effectiveness has to be taken into consideration when we look over your request. This means that while you might suggest something it does not mean it will be implemented right away or at all. Even so, we do read EVERY suggestion and consider it carefully before determining how to implement it or simply shelve the idea for another time.
Stacia and Hunter, I think both ideas have been added in:

Something I've been thinking about is a board for writing resources and brainstorming. I know there's a book/writer's board, but that seems to be for published authors, and there's the textRPG board, but I think it would be cool to have someplace for writers. Topics it could have it in could be resources for writing, like articles about creating character backstories or how to write battlescenes, where others could add their advice or quotes from books and articles they like that helped them to come up with better ideas.
Another example of a topic that could go into this board would be a thread with one-sentence snippets describing characters. They wouldn't necessarily be up for "Claims", but say you want an idea for a character for your novel or Dungeons & Dragons game and nothing is coming to mind, you could look on a there and find brief ideas, like "An albino centaur who enjoys collecting colored stones", or "A superhero whose weakness is silver spoons".
I don't know if it is a good idea or not, but since I've been ruminating on it I figured I should offer it up as a suggestion.
We actually have a Donation Drive going on now that offers up that option for a Donation:
Perhaps way of seeing recent posts made by a member, or threads created, from their profile?
I would mostly use this for myself when I get behind in my roleplaying or a lot of posts have been made. This would help to not have to search each page one by one to get back to where I last posted and then read up on activity since I last posted.
If not, perhaps a way to have notifications take you directly to a reply made after a players post?
These are both features I have seen on other sites which seem to be lacking here, but perhaps given the way this site is built or the number of its members it is something that can be done. I would understand if such was the case.

That facility is already part of this site but has been disabled because it was never upgraded to fit mobility, however to keep up with the games you are in you simply have to subscribe to Threads, choose Role-playing Games you are in as your 'Favorite', etc. Watching someone's Posting history will not necessarily help you in Role-playing Games since it is a story, therefore to know what happens you will have to read the Posts made in sequence since your last visit.
