It has the same concept of an underdog making the most of his life and figuring out his way around the barnyard and the world. A baby zebra that gets left behind after his parents are driven away by the zoo caravan gets 'adopted' by a father/daughter duo. The young girl raises the abandoned baby zebra, which she names Stripes, on her family's Kentucky ranch. Her father is a retired horse trainer, and when the zebra is fully grown, she asks dad to let the animal compete in the year's biggest horse race, the Kentucky Crown. He is afraid to agree since her mother died in a horse racing accident, even though Stripes desperately wants to race with the other horses. Stripes Racing movie

I downloaded and saw a poor version of this movie. It was a screener, but it needed a reply. I thought that it was very funny, and I will probably rent it when it comes to dvd. David Spade was hystarical as one of the flys that first bother the Zebra then cheer for him. Its a great family flick, but does have a couple moments where the humor is questionable, but my kids are too young to catch it and loved the talking animal movie. Snoop Dogg makes a memorable appearance as a hound dogg that pretty much cant believe what he is seeing the whole movie.
