I really can't get into any of the Harry Potter movies. It is too out there for my liking. Give me Lord of the Rings any day.
I am soooo totally excited for Prisoner of Azkaban! I have tickets for a midnight showing tomorrow!!!!! Harry Potter is wonderful! Yeah, it's going to be the best! They have a new director this time around so it's going to be way different. I just can't wait I'm so excited!!!!! Hooorayyyy! Okay, I'm a dork, but it is still going to rock!
We'll probably see it within the next couple of weeks. The third book in my opinion was the best book, so hopefully the third movie, which covers the same story as the third book, will be the best flick.
'HARRY' IS EVIL, SOME CLERGY SAY
Trailers and movie posters for the new Harry Potter movie proclaim that "Something wicked this way comes." Some concerned Christians couldn't agree more.

I saw Harry Potter today. I read the book before going to see it, quite some time ago actually. I'm not sure if that's a good idea because, although it certainly is the best storyline of the three, seeing the gaps gives it a sense of being incomplete and rushed ;(
All the children looked older than they should have done - which is because they are now getting on for two years older in real life than their fictional characters!
It was good to see the Knight Bus I actually live about a mile away from the studios and know people who have friends in the movies or who have seen them shooting bits.
I finished reading book 4 not too long ago - that's pretty good too.
I'm not convinced there is an evil influence in the books. They seem quite uplifting in fact. Some people cannot seem to comprehend symbolism at all. What is being taught is the important point, not really the symbols used to convey it.
Dubhdara.
I took my family to see the Prisoner of Azkaban a couple of days ago. It was very well done. I's the kind of movie you don't want to see end. I would reccomend it to everyone. I read the book a couple of years ago and could not remember all the details. My kids however, have read all the books multiple times and said the movie skipped seveal key points of the book. Regardless, it was very good.
On a side note, my wife and kids saw several of the Harry Potter actors a couple of months ago at the airport in Salt Lake City. Only problem was, they didn't know for sure it was them. My daughter saw two blond boys and said to my wife, They could pass for the Weasley twins. My wife agreed but didnt say anything more. The other day when we saw the movie, my daughter became convinced it was them because there was another boy they were talking with at the airport and this boy was in the movie as well. Since I work for America West Airlines, I searched our database for the flight and found their reservations. In addition to the Weasley twins, the actor who plays Neville Longbottom was there, as well as Seamus Finnigan. Too bad they didn't aproach them and ask them why Hogwarts students would be in need of an airline ticket. Did they forget their brooms?
