I know many rabid fans of Harry Potter. They all agree that the third movie is not very good.
Okay. I agree too. But let me state that I do not like Harry Potter. J.K. Rowling may have a lot of imagination, but I find that the fanfics have better plots and her writing isn't very good either. Anyway.
The third movie is quite... Well, they cut out quite a lot of parts. They might be trying to keep the movie short, but it just lacks... something. It was alright, as a whole, but those who have never read the book will not understand a thing that is going on. Besides, Tom Felton's acting was horrendous.
I do understand that this movie had a different director from the first two films... But give me "Sorcerer's Stone" (Sorcerer? Yucks... I'm still terrified at why they ever changed the title) anyday over "Prisoner of Azkaban".
And I have seen better werewolves.
Azkaban was the best I have seen so far, but I dont think its a childs movie. (I'm talking about any kid under 4) My sister is about that age and was scared out of her mind while my cousin (whos 6) loved it.
Yeah, I heard about it, AND something about it bein Pg 14 due to scary WereWolves and stuff. I think they're right, but my Sis wants to see it and I might take her to the movies cause shes still 10 Years old... Maybe we should see Harry Potter?
I just saw Harry Potter: The Prisoner of Azkaban on the plane from England to the US and must say that I was pleasantly surprised at how good it was. I am not a fan of Harry Potter and never read any of the books but this movie was quite enjoyable and well made. I would even go to the point of watching it again if given the chance. I do agree though that it is not a kids movie by any means; too dark and too many scary creatures.
Really hope on seeing the thrid Harry Potter flick...I never read the books but once I saw the movie I knew that it was something that I'd like...I saw the first and second and was amazingly pleased...I wanted to see the third but never got a chance to so far...but that will all be said and done really soon...because I plan on seeing it that's how......but yeah...the third one seems cooler and more dark in some kinda way...and Hermione looks like she's gonna teach that annoying rich kid a lesson...(Sorry know his name but don't know how to spell it...^_^)
RPG
I liked the third book the least of the fist four, but I liked the third movie the most of the three movies. Maybe my taste has just changed since I last read the book, which was about when it was first released...
But I think it's the director... excellent work!
REVIEW: NEW 'POTTER' TRIES TO DO TOO MUCH
I have enjoyed the magical charms of the Harry Potter franchise since the highly anticipated (and highly hyped) first film, "Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone," cast its spell upon the big screen in November, 2001.

When the first of the Harry Potter series first came out I was very unwilling to read it. But I have now read all 6 books thus far...the fourth being the best read for myself personally! It was great to see the movies, although it was nothing like I had imagined..but it was just as exciting! The first movie I took my family and friends to see it..all sceptics, but they walked out of the movie theatre appreciating the storyline and resurfacing the fight for good and evil....sort of like what Star Wars has done for their fans...The fourth movie opens here next week on Thursday and I hope to catch a session! Seeing the characters Harry and his friends grow into teenagers with teen age problems and the amazing mind of JK Rowling combined with the movie directors and producers expertise, I think they have done a great job in bringing Hogwarts to life. I know the Harry Potter series have definitely got alot of children reading again...using their imaginations more...especially reading books with more than 100 pages!
