Whatever the case, I can only say that the mentioning of his name brings back distant memories. Both my little brother and I were shown those videos in elementary school, and, even now, I can remember some of the unusual content. The Bill Nye videos were a welcome way to relax in school, with us kids barely realizing that we were learning. They really provide a unique link to my most ancient of memories.
