The victim, Abessia De Four, was 25.
He lived at Upper Caiman Road, St Joseph but around 5 p.m. On Monday he was at the home of a friend at Longden Street Extension, Curepe.
De Four and another man, 18-year-old Kyle Peters, were standing outside the house when a silver car drove by them.
One of its occupants leaned out and fired several shots at De Four.
De Four was hit five times about the body.
