I haven't seen any of the pilot pens on sale here, but BIC pens are available in practically every shop you walk in. I have never had a problem with them.
I do like the Pentel thin line gel pens too, somehow they bring the best out in my writing

I always like to use pens that come from the brand "Faber Castell" Because the those types of pens last very long until just at the very end, then that is when the pen starts to give trouble because there is not enough ink because it is almost finished. But I believe that so far that Faber Castell pens is better then the rest of the brands out there.
