This is a neat invention. I think that a heated towel bar would be divine. I would love to step out of the shower and grab a hot towel. There are too many times when I get cold easily stepping out of a hot shower and into a cooler atmosphere.

Heated towel racks sound nice but I look at itas a added part to the eelectric bill that is not needed in my opinion. If one wanted heated towels I would vent a heater into the towel storage so all are heated along with the bathroom area with out added electrical expense.

A buddy of mine was stationed in Korea in the Army and he has heated towel racks and heated floors in his house. He loves it all. The floors are heated by water and he says there is nothing like hitting the floors and having them be warm in the morning and then using a nice warm towel after the shower.

Yeah that is one thing I miss about Korea, I loved the heated floors. I even had a live in maid and cook. I had a four room apartment out in the city that had its own private entrance. I was highly prized out in the village because I carried a gun most all the time. I never had the heated towels but I did not really need them either. I am not sure I would want them now either.

Then Desert Storm came around and everyone thought our group was it because we got to test our skills at the real thing. Little did they know a decade later we'd have never ending conflict and every group got to "Play" in the sandbox.

I have to say, this seems like an extravagance with minimal value to me.

Heated clothing is pleasant enough but I wouldn't go out of the way to go for it, and the amount of energy needed to keep that warm all the time is not huge, but not insignificant either.
