Former President Ronald Reagan has died aged 93.
On February 6, 1911, Ronald Wilson Reagan was born to Nelle and John Reagan in Tampico, Illinois. He attended high school in nearby Dixon and then worked his way through Eureka College. There, he studied economics and sociology, played on the football team, and acted in school plays. Upon graduation, he became a radio sports announcer. Is is a sad day in America when a former US president passes away, regardless of what the majority public opinion was of him. Ronald Reagan accomplished a lot while he served as the 40th President of the U.S and will always be remembered as the most recent one to have an assasination attempted on him. The US mourns the loss of a former leader.
Sad indeed; I believe Ronald Reagan and Margaret Thatcher to have been amongst the very few political leaders in modern times who were actually acting on their own consciences and principles...
