I don't mid supporting buy local so long as the quality is on par with what is imported. Sometimes the imported stuff is better and for cheaper.

T&T makes some top quality products but you know why they don't get as much support from the public? Its because they charge the same or even more than the foreign stuff. How can importing something be cheaper than manufacturing right here? I think local producers want to get rich quick.

I don't mind supporting local brands but sometimes they really overdo it with the price compared to what they offer you. I am not gonna support any brand that I think is ripping off people.
