Power corrupts that's the main basis for this film. When you can do anything you want you start to hurt others. Chronicle also touches on the impact your parents can have on you in this case the character Andrew Detmer played by Dane DeHaan reacted to his father's abuse through the use of his camera. Not a bad film, I thought it lacked depth to it but was overall good.
