I'm reading Hermann Hesse's last long novel:
My reading list follows the goofy and the serious...
First the serious: I am reading a book by Richard Machowicz called "Unleash the Warrior Within" If you are a procrastinator or a perfectionist or just looking for a way to motivate yourself to do something (I myself am trying to get myself to take some online classes) I recommend it.
The goofy side of me likes graphic novels and I am currently reading one called "The Goon" by Eric Powell if off the wall is your thing, I give this two thumbs up and a foot!
I just finished a novel titled "The Rule of Four" by Ian Caldwell and Dustin Thomason. Excellent book! It's a good mystery, a thriller, a "coming of age"; this is a wonderful read. I was hooked from the prologue.
I am currently reading several books at the same time. I am reading "Mormonism for Dummies," "Clean Hands, Pure Heart: Overcoming Addiction to Pornography Through the Redeeming Power of Jesus Christ," "Finding Wholeness and Happiness After Divorce."
Offtopic but, Before any of my on-line buddies get worried, I do not have an addiction to pornography. I do know someone who does and began reading the book in an effort to understand. I found it has a lot great stuff beneficial to all, addicted or not. |
I had just finished reading a book called Tiger by a guy named Jeff Stone. After I read it I found it pretty cool because it was very descriptive in what the characters did. I would recommend the book for 10 year olds to 15 year olds even though I found it in the young adult section of the library. the typing was large and the vocabulary was pretty light.
At the moment I am rereading Terry Pratchets diskworld series, GRUNTS by mary gentle, and the Golden fool by Robin Hobb.I am also reading Animal farm by Orwell for school. This list will have changed by tommorrow. It almost depresses me that I have let my to read list become so full.
