Comments: I wish to inform that I live in Chaguanas and I was part of Charlieville Presbyterian School for years as a teacher, parent and administrator.

TV6 needed to get their facts and think about destroying not only a school, but a community and especially lives of children because of a delinquent parent who are not interested in education but on gaining attention for himself.

He lacks education and suffers from laziness, sponging on the state, fooling about the need for disability funds and targeting other people's children because his children were failing because of high absenteeism.

The culture of the school has always been one of high morals and values, discipline, holistic education and a happy and safe environment to promote learning.

Spend a day at the school and see if there was any truth in the report. Abuse does not exist at the school, instead charity prevails. Perhaps abuse exists at the gentleman's home and as a parent he wants to pass the blame to get away from his lack of parental support, as a stakeholder.
Ask him if he ever supported the school in any way or his children in their education.

Both the parents are abusive individuals and very high strung.

It is a pity that people would be more interested in negativity that the successes of institutions.

Check the Vision and Mission Statements of the school.
Find out about the operations and programmes.
Find out why the enrollment have grown in the last five years.
Tell TV 6 to do some home work. Investigate why no one in the community trust these people as parents or want them to enter their business places or their homes. These people just sick.

I feel really angry when hard working teachers are sacrificed as scapegoats for issues.

If I am not mistaken, TV6 featured the testimony of a few parents not just one. I don't think TV6 would be so foolish as to put something on television without any basis whatsoever. When allegations of this kind occur, there is usually some true in this whole scenario.
