Chardon High School

Just heard over the news that there was a shooting at the Chardon High School in Ohio and apparently some students were shot but I don't know if any died. I think they have someone in custody now.

No problem but now CNN says that one student died and four were injured. The shooter was a teenager that went into the school cafeteria and started firing.

A second victim has died from wounds suffered in Monday's school shooting in Chardon, Ohio, the Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner's office said.

Russell King Jr. 17, was shot at Chardon High School. Student Daniel Parmertor died on Monday. Three other students were wounded in the shooting.

Authorities have yet to name the suspect arrested in the attack. But many students, some of whom said they were steps away from the suspect, described the shooter as a boy named T.J. Lane. Ref. CNN

Oh that is so sad. There has to be stricter security measures put in place at all schools because you can never know when someone will lose their cool.

A third victim of Monday's school shooting in Chardon, Ohio, has died, according to a statement from MetroHealth Medical Center in Cleveland.

Demetrius Hewlin died Tuesday morning, his family said in a statement released by the hospital.

Student Russell King Jr., 17, was declared brain dead early Tuesday, according to the medical examiner's office, and student Daniel Parmertor died on Monday.

Two other students remain hospitalized.

The suspect in Monday's shooting at Chardon High School will likely face charges as an adult, the state attorney general said Tuesday. Ref. CNN

Student T.J. Lane has been charged on six counts related to Monday's shooting at Chardon High School in Ohio, according to court documents.

The charges against the 17-year-old sophomore -- filed in juvenile court -- were three counts of aggravated murder, two counts of attempted aggravated murder and one count of felonious assault. Ref. CNN
