I always say to my kids I am going to live long enough to be a pain and embarrassment to you like you were to me when you were young and throwing tantrums in the middle of a store. *smile* I do not know if they think I am serious or not. I feel that if you have to publicly embarrass your children to show you care for them then maybe you should rethink your parenting ideas.
