I lived a few miles away from this event. There is so much confusion about the events. In my honest opinion, Zimmerman should have gotten the death sentence or maybe electrocuted. Paranoia is no excuse to shoot someone.

The fact that Zimmerman's weapon would sell for that much means we have a really twisted community bidding on it. Hopefully the government can reign in half the proceeds for themselves with the other half going to Martin's family.
