I am not saying she wasn't but how do you feel pressured into something like sex when on a casual date? Its not like she was in a room alone or cornered somewhere or that her job was on the line. Why even go public with it unless you're lookng for some attention.

This case is sounding more and more like a 'He said, she said'. He is claiming they had consensual sex that she texted him the next day about regretting the contact. He then states he was remorseful and considerate. She is stating he sexually assaulted her, and it was only when she saw he was getting an award (Read 'now famous') that she decided to speak up about it and accuse him. There are far too many of these accusations without action, causing people to lose their careers and such. Revenge or put-up jobs, I don't know, but it's really suspicious in some cases. In others, however, the men are guilty, power-tripping idiots who need castration. It'd be nice to be able to tell the difference.

To me if you are assaulted you report it right away and take a rape kit test. You don't wait for a long time to pass and when you hear the alleged perpetrator is getting an award you decide to say you were raped by him.
