You know what I don't get about the whole Jesus thing... Why if he did so many miracles did it take 4 of his disciples decades after to write about him and what he did? Someone else should have recorded something about it.

Most of the followers of Jesus were fighting for survival under the Romans and because of the persecution of the Rabbis of the time no one there make a public record talking about Jesus in the manner that the Gospels do.
