What a dramatic match. The dutch deserved to win as they played the better attacking game but hats off to Costa Rica who showed real heart and made it this far. The Costa Rican coach will go far.

That was a great game even if no goals were scored initially. No one likes to see a penalty shoot out but the Costa Ricans were asking for it and their plan did not work out for them. Now that the finals are here the next nail biting match will be Tuesday's Brazil vs Germany match. I feel the Brazilians may lose this to Germany.

Tomorrow's game: Germany vs Brazil would have been a difficult one to give a prediction on but now that two Brazilian strikers are out I'm going to say that Germany will win this one for sure.

Update: What an embarrassment for Brazil and they are lucky that they got a consolation goal at the end.

Man, I bet that this is the worst defeat that Brazil ever experienced in the history of football. I knew at first once the Germans scored their first goal, I knew that some kind of mad result like 5-0 was going to occur with Brazil because the way the defense was going. Somehow at the beginning the Brazilian players could not get over the fact that the Germans were ahead of them as soon as they scored the first goal and it is the same reason why the other players scored easily as well.

The fans was so upset about Brazil's performance that some of them applauded the Germans when the scored a goal! They constantly booed at their country which probably partially distracted the players. Until the Brazil at least made one goal before the final whistle. Instead the Germans went out in the field to celebrate in the end, they console the Brazilians which they were obviously shocked and sad about the event which just took place a few minutes ago, which was a sign of good sportsmanship.

Based on the last game, the Dutch will have a hard fight with the Argentinians but I don't think it will be anything like what we saw today... That was like watching a team being destroyed by a nuclear soccer ball.

About the next match, which is today. The Argentinians better get ready for a harsh match with the Dutch. In this case, they should get ready mentally otherwise they will end up like Brazil last time. Because both countries have the same problem of the players braking down mentally quickly because of some common reasons.
