Group A results: Brazil 3 and Croatia 1
Croatia's goal was based on an own goal from Brazil.
Croatia was robbed in that game. I don't know what game was the Japanese referee watching when he gave Brazil that penalty that never existed. The first goal was hilarious to say the least and embarrassing for the host nation. Neymar was definitely the star of the game and even though he made a fantastic goal, he should have been given a red card when he elbowed the Croatian player in his eye.
Brazilians are great players, they do not need half of the non-sense they do inside the field, they need to start playing clean and honest.
Weren't they supposed to use special cameras like a fourth referee in there? That way these things can be better determined because the cameras don't lie.
The next game: Match 2: Mexico vs Cameroon

Spain 1 and Netherlands 5
What an upset! The Dutch must have decided to do that for Spain's fake penalty shot at the start. If this is how the Spaniards want to contend then they will have a large struggle ahead of them and be out of the first round.
Currently playing: Chile vs Australia
The outcome is sand for those Down Under with Chile having made 2 goals against them already. There was not much support from the local media for the Australians - they questioned if all the expense was worth it if they would not win.
Update: Australia just scored!
I was never really into soccer until Beckham but of course I'm going to support America and I hope they win!
The final score: Chile 3 and Australia 1.
It as an entertaining match and the Aussies really tried to redeem themselves from the two early goals that Chile dealt them. What I like about the Australians is they play with vigor no matter the score - some teams tend to go slow and give up when they are behind.
Tomorrow we will start off with Colombia vs Greece.
