What a sweet revenge from the US! Because of Ghana the US had to go home in the 2006 and 2010 World Cup. Spectacular goal from the substitute and a nonexistent penalty awarded by the referee.

SxyTeenGirl, you got your wish and its actually sweet revenge because in the last World Cup it was Ghana who beat the USA. It was another entertaining match but the Ghanians should have won, they got SO MANY opportunities but just wasted it.

Belgium 2 and Algeria 1

When Algeria made that early goal Belgium struggled for most of the match. Then after they finally made their first goal the other came quickly after. Too bad for Algeria, as underdogs it would have been nice to see them win.

Mexico 0 and Brazil 0

It was a very active match with both sides trying for goal many times and yet they could not find any net. The Mexicans have proven they are unafraid of Brazil. This also puts Brazil in a unique position because instead of having 6 points they only have 4 now.

I am currently watching Russia vs. South Korea where both have just scored. It was largely uneventful for the first half and I'm sure many were wondering if any goals will be scored. Interestingly enough it seems that its always the substitutes that score the goals and only moments after coming on the field.

Australia 2 and Netherlands 3

This was such an entertaining match with the leaders each taking turn scoring on top of each other. In the end the Dutch won but now this might eliminate Australia as they lost both of their matches.

The next match: Spain vs Chile. Everyone wants to see if Spain can redeem themselves from that terrible lost to the Netherlands.
