Ted Bundy
Ted Bundy a serial killer of the 1970s took dozens of women to their graves. As with most of these cases Ted's beginnings was unfortunate as his own mother was known to him as his sister. Here is an excerpt from one of his crimes (this victim lived):
She was not asleep, as her roommates had thought when they approached the bed of Joni Lenz on the afternoon of January 4, 1974. They found her lying in a pool of blood that was seeping from her head and face. Terrified, her roommates removed the covers from Joni Lenz's body only to find an even more horrible sight. A bed rod had been torn away from the bed and savagely rammed into her...

Ted escaped twice from incarceration and was even married before being sentenced to death. He was eventually electrocuted until dead. His name still lives on as one of the worst criminal minds ever.
Ted Bundy was indeed a disturbing individual and his crimes, and those of his followers were very gruesome. What disturbed me most about him was his efforts to wage war between different races. He figured that if he committed certain crimes, that one race would attest these crimes to other races, and the two would wage war against each other. He termed this 'helter skelter' and it was his grand scheme of bringing the world to its knees.

Malexander, I think you are mixing up 'helter skelter' with Manson (who is also a profile on here). Ted was actually a 'smart' guy and did well in his studies, but yes, his crimes were unthinkable. It is interesting to note that it seems during the 60-70s there were some seriously crazy sickos out there. There still are, but you do not hear as much about such bizzar crimes.

Yes, of course, how could I confuse the two? Ted Bundy was the serial killer who killed all those female students at a University in Florida. Duh? I recall he fled from Florida because he didnt want to face the death penalty. Sorry about that mixup. I guess bottom line is they were both sick individuals.

This case was a living proof that serial killers do not have a 'particular' look. Ted Body fooled a lot of people. He was handsome, smart, educated, who could think he would do something like that?.

I remember reading about this evil sociapath, and the wicked murders that he committed.
Nobody knows quite how many murders Ted Bundy committed, but police think it was well in excess of 30.
As in other serial killer cases, I think that his crimes were steadily getting worse, and certainly more daring, if he hadn't been caught when he did, I think that his crimes would have become even more gruesome!
Ted Bundy in my opinion, certainly used to his advantage the fact that he had looks that didn't give way to the evil that lurked within him. Several witnesses stated that he looked like he was someone that you could trust. This was probably one of the reasons that he got away with the murders for so long. Ted Bundy was a highly intelligent man, and he even put his arm in a sling when there was nothing wrong with it, to lull his victims into a false sense of security.
I don't know whether I could say that he had Satan within him, but he certainly had a huge amount of evil lurking within him!

Despite his brutal rape and murders of 30 or more women Ten Bundy got bags of hundreds of letters of females who wanted to have a relationship with him.
Ted Bundy is one of those that made us nice guys look bad. He would approach ladies and charm them with his nice guy attitude and then took them to a remote place at times to kill them. He is one of those who was easily trusted so he had his choice of victims. I believe that if he had not messed up like he did he would still be out there. He got away with his crimes enough to know what not to do. Going against his own method of operation is what got him caught if I remember.
