Critical Flaws in IE
First of all why do you use Internet Explorer? It is so buggy and full of security holes. Recently members were complaining that when they visited the Medieval section they would get a serious memory problem. I could not see this on Netscape and had to open the latest version of IE (with patches and all). After some research and experimenting I realized that the problem is IE - it has a critical flaw. When onError script is called it makes an eternal loop. IE has been informed of the problem since version 4! Have they done anything about it - NO!
Medieval users and others who would like to view this section can now do so in peace as I removed the code that caused the activation of the bug in IE.
Basic example of the flaw:
What this does:
1) It creates an image with an invalid src
2) IE tries to show the picture but can't: it fires the
onError-event
3) The onError-event resets the src attribute to the same
invalid src.
4) goto 2

Note this small amendment to the rules starting TODAY:
If you create a character for the FIRST time and then DO NOT show up for a game your RPG status will be lost and you will need to make a donation to regain RPG status. The reason for this is users post saying they want to play, the GM takes precious time to create their character and then they simply do not show up. This is a free service, if you cannot appreciate it then you will need to pay to play - simple as that.
Participation
Recently I have been getting requests from users to join the RPGs and although their post count is above 30 their participation level is less than desirable. The RPGs can be taxing, especially when people join and do not fulfill their role. To prevent this there will be an additional requirement for playing any RPG game. Your participation level MUST BE at least 75%. This should not be difficult if you are really interested in being part of the community and posting once daily (which in itself is a requirement to playing RPGs). Premium and Premium Plus accounts are not subject to this. The rules and RPG pages will be updated to reflet this. Thanks for understanding.
Well I am very excited to announce the new RPG 'Solo' site:
We have recently added a unique WIZARD to the https://www.worldofmedieval.com/ page to help newbies and others get step by step information to build a character! Even if you are an RPGer you can try it and see if you learn anything new - click on the link called, 'Wizard' within the above link.
Thumbnail Scenes
There are some set images that have been added to the storyline to help players visualize where their characters are in the game. You will see these in each story and they are meant only as a help and not as an exact description or ideal.
There is a new update with regards to how character equipment is treated due to the high level of data that is being handled by the GM. See here:

New Medieval Board
The new 'Secret Order' Board is for upgraded RPGers in the Medieval game. A brief explanation is given in the main Medieval Board about it just for the benefit of regular members. More details will be placed in the Secret Order Board for those of you who can access it. This will add a new unique twist to the game.
