Policeman Stopping Maxi Driver

Comments: I was in a maxi today that was stopped by a policeman. The driver or his front seat passenger was not wearing the seat belt. What surprised me was the way the policeman approached the situation. As soon as the officer came up to the passenger side window he began a tongue lashing of the driver saying how people disrespect the police, say bad things about the police, etc. All this time the driver was silent and this made the police officer even more angry. The officer accused the driver of "Sitting there like if you dotish" and expected him to apologize for not wearing his seat belt. I thought this was uncalled for and the driver now said that if he had said something the officer would have said he was disrespecting him. I tend to agree because of the initial approach of the officer. In the end the police officer said by saying nothing he disrespected him and he issued him a ticket. I wonder if this has anything to do with the recent Ian Alleyne fiasco?
