Spiderman makes his way on to the big screen again. Have you see it? What iis your review?
Taken from dTheater:
I'll admit that when they announced he would be the lone villain in this film, I was weary. Spider-man has always been more similar to Batman than Superman in that he has a myriad of different villains he takes on as opposed to an arch nemeis like Lex Luthor. But one thing that I thought would be tricky in a Spidey movie franchise is that so many of the popular villains are scientists turned villains. Leaving not much difference in their tragic Frankenstein-esque origin stories (complete with character arcs featuring redemption).
Luckily, Raimi didn't really make Norman Osbourne tragic, so much as spoiled. And Willem Dafoe's character certainly didn't redeem himself by movie's end. A good decision, as it allows Octavious' character traits to feel fresh. Also, if I had one complaint about the first Spider-man film, it's that Green Goblin fealt a little weak as a threatening villain, and his costume was lackluster. If you agreed, fear not, because Dock Ock's tentacles are a force of mass destruction to be reckoned with; several action sequences throughout the movie add up to the best onscreen (superhero vs. supervillain) comic book style fights we've ever seen.

Just saw SpiderMan 2 and I have to say I liked it better than the first. It wasnt one of those action-packed movies; there was a lot of storyline. When there was action it was very good, and well directed. I also enjoyed the Osborne sub-plot as he turns out to be the real villain in this movie; Doctor Octopus is used as a pawn. Without giving away too much here, I have to say this is a must-see and I would pay to see it again in a heartbeat.

Peter Parker in the original cartoon is an emotional person, who struggles with daily life. I thought Toby Maguire did an excellent job of portraying the Peter Parker character in this sense. Spiderman is not your conventional superhero, his character has a lot of issues, and the movie did a great job of staying along those lines.
Alex, that's true, he is not the typical superhero. He looked pretty depressed in this movie, of course, they already opened the door for Spiderman 3 with the discoveries that his enemy and friend found, it seems like there will be a bad guy with similar powers than him and MaryJane did not look happy in the end....
I must admit I am not that thrilled that the Green Goblin may be returning. I think there are better villains they can cast. LDS_forever, what made you think Mary Jane wasnt happy at the end?
Having the Green Goblin again follows the Spiderman story where the son is affected mentally by the death of his father to the point that he takes over the 'mask' he once wore. The alien arch rival of spiderman, can't remember the name, but he wore all black and had long fangs - would be a good one to feature, I believe Goblin even helped Spiderman in one instance to get rid of him. We may expect to see a little bit of a different Goblin this time.
