(Reuters) - Former President George H.W. Bush, who has never written a memoir, has told his story in his own words for an HBO documentary to be broadcast on television in June. HBO said on Thursday that the documentary, called "41" to reflect Bush's position as the United State's 41st president, sees Bush reflecting on his childhood, family and a life that took him from World War Two navy aviator to CIA director, vice-president and the White House. Former president George H.W. Bush shaved his head to show support for the son of one of his Secret Service security detail who was diagnosed with Leukemia.

Former President George H.W. Bush fell on Wednesday morning while at home in Kennebunkport, Maine, breaking a bone in his neck, Bush spokesman Jim McGrath said.
He has a broken bone in his vertebrae, but "It was not life threatening" McGrath said. Bush, 91, is in a hospital in Portland, Maine, and is stable. McGrath said Bush was at no time disoriented. "We are not expecting a long stay," McGrath said. Ref. CNN

Former President George H.W. Bush and his wife, former first lady Barbara Bush, have both been hospitalized, his spokesman said.
The 41st president has been hospitalized at Houston Methodist Hospital since Saturday, Jim McGrath told CNN. He later said in a statement the cause was "An acute respiratory problem stemming from pneumonia. Doctors performed a procedure to protect and clear his airway that required sedation."
Barbara Bush also was admitted to the hospital Wednesday morning as a precaution after experiencing fatigue and coughing, McGrath said.
Bush was already not expected to attend the inauguration of President-elect Donald Trump in Washington on Friday due to health concerns. Ref. CNN.
