Why Do Rm's Not Network More Through This Site?

I would like to have keept moore in touch, with old mission companions.
Ocationally I have searched for England Manchester Mission homepages.
Now I found this site, and hope to get in contact with some of my old "mates"
and also new mates.
I think it will be a good idea to network a lot moore than we do.
And I think everybody can benefit from the great source of RM's around the world!
Or maybe evrybody is to buisy with their lives to bother?

Why Do Rm's Not Network More Through This Site? Studies Doctrine Mormon

I served from 91-93 in the EMM - Elder Borde. As far as missionaries networking - to be honest I find most RMs a bit weird with regards to accessing the internet. They have huge resources and make many promises to send in pics and stories, but in the end they never do or rarely do at best. Probably life after mission is too overwhelming?

Hi LDS forever

I did serve from 1983 - 1985 - under president Livingston.

I did find his E-mail address on this site, thats why I joined up.

I have had some contact, with a few of my companions, and I'm happy for that.

And I have found out, that I could have been there for them, when they had hard times in their lives.
I hope this forum can help, any RM's in need.
After all, we are our brothers keeper.
Hopefully I can do just a bit, and bee there for anybody. ( If i can find my way around this site. - I'm still struggling, I might give up !

You might also want to try www.mission.net, a list of all missions worldwide and you can place your name on the mission alumni list for your mission and get email addresses of others you served with. My mission president set up an email group at yahoo and we have gradually grown to about 150 strong. Pretty good for a group of elders and sisters who served together 26-29 years ago.
