What is your review for the eating experience at "Street Meats" located at Western Main Rd., St. James, Trinidad?

Here is my review having bought in Street Meats a week ago. I don't eat meat so I went in there to buy a BBQ chicken, and potato salad for my wife. My first impression was the prices... Seems on the high end. My wife says the way they displayed the food in the container showed they take care in their service. She was referring to cutting up the chicken into portions and ice cream scoops of potato salad. This meant nothing for me really but she likes that kind of thing. Staff service was average and I noticed some flies dancing around the front side of their establishment. Although it was no where near the food one of the front staff who saw me trying to get them away from me did nothing to remove it. As for the taste, she will have to come say.

Comments: I personally believe its a hidden gem. I live in NY and visit Trinidad frequently, and I've been eating there since it opened a couple of yrs ago. I must say.. I tried everything on the menu and the food is great., and the taste is consistent. My personal favorite is the BBQ ribs and the fry fish. Also the fact that they are actually aware of the importance of no MSG and no microwaves was a huge plus for me. My last trip I ate royal castle once., and street meats over 5 times., and don't feel guilty like I'm eating unhealthy / junk food.

Comments:Street Meats have some of the best BBQ around. I love their food but my only complaint is you have to take it away. Sometimes I end up eating something else because I want to sit down.
