Florida Abortion Practitioner Quits Sooner Than Expected
Orlando, Florida-based abortion practitioner Scott Spagnolo-Hye was expected to quit doing abortions next month, but it appears he may have already ended his career as an abortion practitioner at local abortion centers.
As LifeNews reported recently, Spagnolo-Hye revealed in a videotaped conversation that June 2 will be the last day he does abortions in the central Florida city. Florida Abortion Practitioner Dies, Did Abortions for 34 Years
Florida abortionist Walker L. Whaley died on May 31, 2012, at the age of 64, according to a two-sentence obituary printed in the Florida Times-Union. Local pro-life activist Michele Herzog told Operation Rescue that he died of a heart attack. Ref. Source 7
Florida: Voters Do Not Approve Measure to Stop Abortion Funding
Voters in Florida failed today to approve Amendment 6, which would prohibit the use of public funds for either abortions or health care coverage that would include abortions. Amendment 6 needed 60 percent of the vote to be approved today.
With 82 percent of the vote counted, Florida voters opposed the measure by a 55-45 percentage point margin. Had the measure been approved, under Obamacare, the state would not subsidize insurance plans that would cover abortion. Ref. Source 2

Abortionist Slaps Pregnant Woman Before Abortion, Just Gets Slap on the Wrist
An abortion practitioner who slapped a patient before an abortion merely received a slap on the wrist from the state medical board. In October 2012, the The Florida Department of Health filed a disciplinary petition against Orlando, Florida-based abortion practitioner Randall Whitney. The petition cites unprofessional conduct related to an incident where he intentionally struck an abortion patient on March 27, 2010.
