Movement for Social Justice - MSJ
What are your thoughts about the Movement for Social Justice - MSJ and their recent split from the People's Partnership government?
The most puzzling thing for me about the MSJ was their lack of sharing information. Maybe they'll do it now that they've officially left the government but before they never specifically said what was bothering them about being in the PP, its like just general talk.
They are not going to win any election because they do not present themselves as a solid party to fight any election.
They are also one-issue focused. While I do stand 100% for worker's rights and for them having better I do not believe that only this needs to be focused upon in the overall scheme of things when it comes to running an entire country. There are lots of other issues as well.
Workers should be thankful that they have a job for starters because for some people they do not even have that opportunity. Again I am not saying that a worker should not have better but I am saying worker's issues are not the only thing to focus upon.
To conclude this government:
1. Firstly came at a time when it had to deal with the baggage left by previous administration. The problem with the MSJ is that they are putting the baggage from previous administrations on to the shoulders of this government which is not fair to this government which did not create those baggage in the first place.
2. This government has only been in its existence for two years and more at the current time. How much do you expect them to do in two years?
We have to give them more time. They have to undo a lot of the things that were brought on them by previous administrations.
This is what the MSJ does not understand and it has not given time for this government to sort out the previous issues with previous administrations that have all gone before.
This government cannot do everything overnight and a little common sense from the MSJ and its leader needs to be put into their minds to bring them to that level of understanding which they clearly indeed seem to lack in a very great way.
