Alcohol is consumed as much as in any other place of the world. People are allowed to drink from the age of 18, but most start at 14-15.
Most drink both foreign and local drinks. One day you will drink either suma, raki, tsipuro, retsina or any other local drink, and another you may drink vodka or whisky in a bar.
Drinking is not considered Taboo in Greece. Drinking brings people closer, and is an inseparable part of parties. Edited: Johnathan on 8th Jun, 2014 - 1:07pm
