Should Their Be A Price Cap On Goods And Services?

It seems that over time the dollar value has somewhat decreased for the Trinidadian citizen.

My question is should their be a price cap or price ceiling on the basic items that many Trinidad citizens are paying for?

Some blame inflation as a reason for the prices of goods and services increasing while certainly we can also put the sole responsibility on the manufacturer as a whole as well.

Other look to the world economic state as a reason for prices continuing to increase.

Regardless as to what excuse may be used it does seem that a price cap needs to be put on the prices of basic items to prevent them from further escalating in price.

Services Goods Cap Price Be Should

Well of course. That was one of the election promises from the current government that there would be some kind of control on basic foods but from what I'm paying that never happened.
