Jesus Teaching in the Western Hemisphere

Comments: I was in a Mormon church today and in the hallway they had a very large artist rendering of "Jesus Teaching in the Western Hemisphere" as the title of it but no artist's name. Anyway I was looking at it for a long time and tried to understand why all the white folk were there. The typical native American didn't look like an European and even if they came from Jerusalem then this painting does not reflect a Jewish look.

That's just an artist's interpretation of how it may of been and isn't meant to be doctrinal. Looking at the image though I think you see a mixture of people and not all from 'Europe' in fact one central figure to the lower right does look like a native American and he's the biggest figure there.
