How many of you can remember Blondie? She was actually singing on a recent music awards show with some of the popular modern singers, her voice sounded almost the same despite her age. She certainly has a unique high pitched sound. My favorite song from her is 'Heart of Glass'.

I saw that Award show and she really did sound the same!! I remember her songs because of her unique vocal sound. Every now and then they will play one of her songs on the oldies station and it is always easy to recognize. There was a group called 'Heart' not sure if anyone remembers them, but I always thought the lead singer of that group sounded like Blondie too. I dont know, maybe its just my demented mind!!!
I had many of her LPs. I have many favorites such as "One Way or Another" "Call Me" and "The Tide is High". I didn't get to see the awards show that she was on. Is she still with Blondie or does she perform as Deborah Harry? I haven't heard anything about her in a long time. I hope she is making a big come back, I've missed Blondie. By the way, do you know the cult movie she was in? Oh and malexander, I do remember Heart. My favorite song of theirs is "Alone". I'm not sure if I agree with you about them sounding like Blondie, I'll have to go see if I can find a sound byte. I'll let you know.
If I remember correctly, Debbie Harry appeared in the Tales from the Darkside movie, and in one of the shorts from John Carpenter's Bodybags anthology. She appeared in the one with Stacy Keach. Someone correct me if I am wrong.
