In each Ward or Branch there should be a Bulletin Board where information concerning upcoming events, special items and features can be displayed for the benefit of the members. Do you look at yours? What is it like?
We have one and I check it out almost weekly. It usually has pictures of some of the youth activities, or ward campouts etc, with some basic info. We also have a ward web site where everyone can keep in touch with what is going on and email addresses of those who have submited them.
Ours is pitiful and rarely is updated. I have already missed very important events because of that. As far as looking at it - well because no one takes care of it I just glace when passing by on Sunday, but do not stop to look.
Offtopic but,
I thought that the First Presidency sent out a letter about removing individual Church web sites? |
Our ward bulletin board seems to be kept updated, but there's no "pizzazz" to it. I was visiting in a different ward last Sunday, and their board was so fancy! Pretty fabric and flowers and colored items highlighting important things ~ it was great.
Perhaps I'll make mention to our ward board person

We have one that is kept up-to-date, nothing fancy. Letters from former missionaries, and also from those from the branch that are serving missions. I check it every week. Sometimes there are events posted - but our Sunday bulletins are more informative that the bulletin boards.
We too have a Ward Web site[ it is through lds.com by the way, all wards and Stakes can have one] ~ ours unfortunately is not kept up-to-date.
