Their is little to no light in the streets, the sky is still overcast and it is night. Light does filter out of a few houses but it isn't much. You are in the more run down "Slummy" area of the town.

After rereading my post I think I could clarify a couple things.
You are all still in the positions that you wanted to be in. Either 50 feet ahead or on a nearby roof, the only ones in immediate danger of entering physical combat are Ven and whoever else is on the ground near him.
The shadows are 50 feet away and closing in on Ven's position. You should still post initiative rolls along with you combat rolls. If you feel confident and want to add more than one round of combat rolls that's okay.
Just a friendly GM reminder, I have one players actions for two rounds and two players actions for one round. I will be posting the outcome of the first round of combat today. Even if I don't have an action for your player.
I'm only going to give 2 days for the second round actions post from all the players. I want to be fair to those who are active so that they don't get bored and quit.
I wasn't specific before but in the future idealisticly all posts will be in before 5 days have passed from my updating post.
It's good to see you back in the game Wowbagger. Your ranged attack with the holy water is going to hit. You should have posted the damage roll with the attack. It is a 2d6 I am pretty sure.
I was going to update earlier but just changed shifts at work. So if you aren't able to post by tomorrow I can roll the damage for you, it's alright.
I am just waiting on Asthelion's post and then I can update. That was great that everyone had their posts in so quickly. Players have dramatically sped up combat in the past by posting several results and rounds of action at once.
