Bmobile Gave Me A Free Phone

I've been walking around with a mobile phone that some will refer to as 'prehistoric'. I usually do not change anything that works, and more so a phone that can take some really hard knocks. My son threw it on the floor so many times and it still works perfectly.

Anyway, yesterday I got a text message from Bmobile about a last chance to get a free trade in. I called in and found out it was legit. I went to POS to do the trade in from a Bmobile authorized reseller as Bmobile main centers do not handle it. I got through within a few minutes.

The new phone isn't anything to rave about, but it was much better than what I had before. At first I thought that Bmobile was too kind but then I found out the reason is because they are changing their system bandwidth and needed to get rid of old phones so they were compatible. In other words they had to do this. Good that one thing 'nice' was done by Bmobile. With my new phone I can still look inconspicuous and remain functional.

Count yourself self lucky JB that you were able to get a free phone. I don't think I have ever gotten anything free from Bmobile other than the extra credit each month but somehow I think I'm paying for extra credit indirectly.

Why Trinidadians are always so negative? You get extra credit and isn't enough? There is always something to be critical about, just be grateful!

Comments: I also got a free phone from them, I love it (they gave me a Samsung mini). My only concern with this whole arrangement is that Bmobile was able to tell me exactly what type of phone I had before (it was a dual-sim phone), including the serial number, although I did not get it from them or one of their dealers. Does that worry anyone else?
