Xena: Warrior Princess - Page 2

Actually Xena was a spinoff of Hercules. She first appeared in the episode "Warrior Princess" and she was evil yet. She tried to turn Hercules' best friend Iolaus against him, but she failed. Later she appeared in 2 more episodes, "The Gauntlet" and "Unchained Heart" in which she started off fighting with Herc and ended up helping him. They worked so well together that they fell in love. Although the passion they felt for each other was strong, Xena was compelled to make amends around the land for her past wrongdoings. Herc understood and the two remained friends for life.
Sorry, but I'm a bit of an anorak when it comes to Xena and Hercules.

ReneeisXena are you recalling all of this from memory? We have to start calling you the Xena Expert. By the way, what is happening with the star actress that played Xena? Is she making any big movies?

I first saw the Xena series, and then one day it was over. we were all sad (my family watched it too) and waited to see what show had replaced it. And it was Hercules. So I assumed he came second.

Well, that was in Israel, so they probably showed Xena first because it was most successful in the U.S.

Yes I did most of it from memory, I had to look up the actual titles of the episodes. As for what Lucy Lawless has been doing since the show ended in 2001 she has had a few guest appearances on shows like "Just Shoot Me" and bit parts in movies like "Spiderman II". Also in 2002 she gave birth to her third child. There has been talk of a Xena movie in the past year but with the character of Xena dead, I think that would be quite difficult. I guess maybe I am a Xena expert.
