To Oliron: I said Avan walks towards the cave along with Asthelion, does he see the same thing?
Also I don't think anyone asked how large the mouth of the cave was?
(actually it was asked, but now that we're closer, can we tell its size?)
Avan will silently signal Asthelion to stop moving.
He will slowly remove his right hand from his arrow, holding it with his bow in his left.
Rustling the grass he will look towards the cave for a reaction or sudden movement.
Terrifying images of voracious predators form in the simple mind of Dinocil, strenghtening his desire for a safe place to hide. After making sure that his small companion will not jump out of the pouch for some time, Matteo cautiously advances, reducing his distance from the tunnel to 20 feet. Keeping his right hand empty, he waits for any sign from the explorers.
Ziminar notices that the walls of the cave are made of wood. No centipede could have created this, a more intelligent creature must have built this cave.
If that is the case, there might be more than just centipedes in that cave, maybe even an ambush.
Ziminar decides that he should tell the rest of the party about this before they enter the cave.
He advances a bit faster towards the cave to catch up with Avan and Asthelion. When he does he, tells them about his fact.
He also tells them they should ask more questions and information about this cave from the halfling, maybe he knows more about this cave than he is telling us.

The centipede in front of you rises from its hiding spot with a hiss. It rears back so that it is about as tall as you. The party suddenly sees another centipede they were not aware of strike from the undergrowth.
Throwing leaves and twigs into the air with its sudden strike, it attacks Asthelion. Asthelion was unaware of the threat and caught within its bite. He takes 3 damage and must roll versus poison ( 10 fortitude roll) or take 1d3 dexterity damage.
