"Keep quiet" Avan whispers harshly to the halfling. Halting and waiting for the party, Avan points to Matteo's torch and points towards the room. Bow at the ready, he walks up to the threshold of the room and has a look around, especially for other exits.
Out of Character: Will I need separate rolls for this room? If you reply within the half-hour, I can edit this post to add them.
Matteo leaned forward, trying to have a better look at the inside of the tunnel. He couldn't make out much out of the darkness ahead, having to peek through the shoulders of that big soldier. At the dim light of the torch, he had the impression that the passage was getting larger. He kept looking at Avan, ready to react to any sign of danger. Out of Character: How big is the room? Are there other exits?
Matteo gets a good look at the room from his vantage point. He sees the room is about 50' in diameter. There is a lot of fluids on the ground, probably from the centipede's bodies.
Matteo and the others notice, a dark spot in the floor at the back end of the room. It's looks as though there is another tunnel leading downwards there.
The hafling says, "This is where the nest was, I know for sure.". His dogs sniff about.

"Out job just got easier, be happy about it," Avan says, trying to boost morale, despite the implications of the dead centipedes.
"We need a scout to go to the other end of the tunnel, guess that'll be me. Meanwhile we can start taking these bodies back."
Avan goes to the other end of the tunnel and has a look down, trying to figure out how deep it is and what made the tunnel as well. For this he borrows Matteo's torch.
Out of Character: Matteo is not wise enough to do this but I have to give you a hint anyway. Before venturing alone in the room, look for a medium sized stone and throw it with force in the mold ahead. If something is hiding there, it will come out: it can't hurt and can save your life.
