Quality camera comes with GPS connectivity and a control that lets you shoot multiple exposures.

I once used a Nikon camera to take some pictures of cards for a client and I must say that it is magnificent in the shots it produces and rivals those of the professional film variety. You can test the quality of a camera by how close you can get to an object and still see sharp clarity.
My wife recently purchased a Nikon F3. This is an old camera, but still VERY high quality. Everyone in the photography business who finds out she has it compliments her on her choice.
Personally, I want to get a Nikon Coolpix P2. It has wi-fi (g) built in, with a lot of great features. However, I just learned that there is a P3 and P4 that have just come out. The P4 is very nice, at the same price as the P2, with 8.1 megapixel instead of the 5.1 on the P2. However, the P4 doesn't have wi-fi.
The P3 DOES have both 8.1 megapixel and wi-fi, and is only $50 more. Hmm. Maybe I will have to start looking at it more closely at the camera store.
Personally I wouldn't mind a Canon 10D or the newer 20D which is suppose to have a quicker shutter response time.
Basic features of this SLR is 8MP and 3 x optical zoom, but of course you don't need more than that with the right lens.
However these cameras are way too expensive and then you have to buy a 300mm telephoto lems and a 55mm.
Nikon's are generally pretty good but for SLRs but I think Canon is now regarded as the best at a reasonable price by professional snappers.
