Would you like to have your own board within this community named after you? For example, if your username were 'Happy' then we would have the 'Happy Board'. If so what would you put in there? What would be the rules of discussion? Which category should it go under?
It might be interesting to have my own board, but I don't know how useful it would be. Since I know a few people with their own forums, for the most part I see that they just have friends there, and they talk about mostly trivial things. Some have little pseudo-RPGs going as well.
I don't think I would really have any reason to do it. I can always discuss what I want in the current structure.
The only thing I see my own board as usefull for is creating my own RPGs on it. Other than that, I agree with Nighthawk and Malaxander, there wouldent realy be a point.
I would not take the time to maintain my own board. I enjoy surfing among the topics others are discussing here and adding my two cents. A board about my interests would be too varied and random to be useful or classifiable. I like the boards where they are - I can find the topics I want to discuss.
I do really like the idea of having my own board. I am not completely sure of the content exactly but the concept is nice. The only trouble is having something to discuss within it. There is so much within the community that unless I could grant access based on for example *tech experience* to create a mature technology based Q&A discussion limited to those in the field. I really do not know, but when I reach Diamond status I will have to once again put these thoughts on my agenda. The rules of discussion would still have to be based on or within the same rhelm of everything that is already here. I do not see a need to create my own board if it cannot meet at least the current constructive standards.
