We are in a bad position now, and I can't think of a good way to get out. Hiding from them seems good, but how are we to know when they leave? How can we tell if they have gone? The GM seems to imply that they are still around, but it could just be our character's imaginations.
I don't have any real ideas on getting us out of this mess, yet, but I will be thinking...
OOC: yea, we are definitely not in the best position as of right now. however, sitting in one place might have it's positives, but it also has it's negatives. Yes, hiding might allow us to hear them, then again they are thieves, they know how to move silently. Another thing, they do know the general direction, if not the spot of where our characters are hiding. Maybe what we could do is have two thieves from our party stick together and move around to a slightly different angle (since we thieves can sneak), and wait for them to make their move. That way if they attack the pair or the trio, the others could attack from behind them? maybe, maybe not. i don't know, i just don't like the idea of having them prey upon us.
IC: Arthyr looks cautiously around trying to get the best angle using the moonlight to his advantage from his spot. Looks at Shade and gestures with his hands that he can't see anyone and mouths, 'Can You?' (without actually speaking). Edited: arthyr on 26th Aug, 2004 - 6:52pm
Okay, we are not in a good position at all, even worse than before, We're stuck in a forest, hardly enough people are posting, and the GM is rushing me. I'm going to have to make a quick disision now, as to ward the GM of till we can clear are thoughts. Here is what I'll do, Airmed and Eissa will both light their torches, the group will huddle in a circle facing out, we still have the advantage in numbers, and if we can see, that will help us. So, think of what to do once I post this, cause we are behind already.
OOC: I think the torches were questionable as our exact location and numbers are now apparent to the still unknown trio. We now no longer have the element of surprise on our side. And if a torch were really needed, one would have been more than sufficient. We need to conserve our supplies. However, I understand the time cruch we're in, so let's just see what happens...
IC: Airmed holds her torch high in her left hand and her spear in her right. Very distressed about this turn of events, she utters, "Why in heaven's name are we doing this?!?" She issues a silent plea to the Gods and Goddesses, squares her shoulders and proceeds forward with the others.
OC: Sorry guys, but I cannot post more than once a day, and I can post only at night. I come from work very late. I know you all need more posting but it is impossible for me during the day.
It seems like the idea of the wild animal sound did not work either ouchh.... Edited: LDS_forever on 27th Aug, 2004 - 2:01am
Yes, I agree we need to regroup. It will do no good to sit around here trying to hide. But we should try to stay in a group, as we run, otherwise we would be easy to pick off, one by one.
Everyone post more suggestions by 3:00 cause thats when I'm posting party order. Thanks.
