[camp] To Catch A Thief - Page 4

OOC: We've got our leaders (at least, I'm assuming we do) and we've got five people in this, so that seems all well and dandy. Arthyr, apologies for this, but I just had to mention that the thought of a person, with all that wonderful equipment and a cloak dressed in animal skins would be, um, rather conspicuous, ne? Can we just say you're wearing rags or something? (Of course, that doesn't go with the equipment either, but I'm assuming anything is better than a skin)

IC: Eissa looked around at everyone else in sight. She'd inched somewhat closer to Arimed and Ariadne, not because she trusted them but because they were a familiar sight. Shade did not appear to be anywhere in sight (he'd disappeared again, and that kept making her nervous) and the newcomer, the one person she hadn't met before, didn't appear to be very well dressed.

Suddenly, she realized something rather embarrassing. She didn't know the other person's name, the one in the... ah, the rather interesting clothes. Feeling rather stupid for not knowing even this, she wondered if she should ask him. Better not, she thought. Most likely I'll say something undeniably stupid and get myself into trouble. Still, Eissa felt curious. Who was he anyway?

Well I guess I'm in favor of Fugi being the leader, as long as she is able to post often enough. Otherwise that would leave me, Arthyr, and Xepther... I don't realy want to do it.

second of all, i'd go for the idea of fugi bein leader and LDS being 2nd party leader, since that does seem to be what it's lookin like. (just don't choose me, and it's all good)



IC: Checks out the surroundings and the 3 people who seem to be huddled in a little group of their own. hmmm...wonder how friendly they are to a thief...well, this is the spot i was told to meet these people, so perhaps they won't be all that bad. there's only one way to find out.

approaches the group slowly. "uh...hello. not to sound stupid, but i figure someone's got to break the ice. I'm Garrett. I guess i'll be joining you on this journey. who are you and what do you do?"

"The names Shade, I'm sure you've heard of the thieves hereabouts, but if you hav'ent thats what we're going to be after. I hoping to be rewarded for our troubles, but last time I hoped that I was dissappointed..."

OOC: Arthyr, your chosen RPG name is Arthyr. This is how you will be addressed. Got a message from Xari, who should be joining us very soon. Please help make her feel welcome, thanks. Folks, I can (and do) post on a daily basis, often more than once a day. Considering I am a mom of 2 very active little boys, my posts to the party order thread will most likely be made between 8-9 pm Eastern US time (they're usually in bed by then). Please try to make your posts here at the camp before then. LDS, if I don't post for, say 36 hours, please take charge. I doubt you'll need to. If anything comes up in real life I will message you privately. I'm committed to the success of this scenario. I trust that the rest of you are as well. As soon as Xari arrives we should start to plan party formation (ie: who is in front, middle, and rear during travel and battles). Also, I need to purchase some supplies if possible. Any objections to us stopping in the village? We can also scout for info on the thieves. Thoughts? Suggestions?

IC: Airmed dispays both hands openly to Arthyr to show she holds no apparent weapon, then extends her right hand in greeting. She enbraces his wrist (as was the custom) in friendship. "Welcome to our humble group. I be Airmed, a practitioner of the magickal ways of old" She turns to Eissa, smiles and issues a gentle reminder. "Surely you're not judgemental about one's looks, are you? Fates have a way of teaching harsh lessons about such matters."

Well, it seems like we all ready to go . I hope we can finish this escenario and try our best. Let's remember that we have to work as a team, not as individuals, that's why the last scenario was so bad. Also we have to be careful and use our common sense, let's use well our imagination. I look forward having a great success in this one. Fugi, I hope you may be able to post regularly and make sure everybody said what they want their characters do, we trust you .

OOC:Well I'm trying to earn the FP so I can get my hands on some thieving tools. Other than that, I don't realy care what we do for starters.

ShadowNinja, you'll need to get gold BEFORE the scenario officially gets underway. This may be a viable option. Here's what I did. I made a $5 donation in exchange for 200FP. Then I used 100FP to purchase 25GP. Thieves tools are more expensive than this, but I don't know what they cost. Check the shop, then the donations page. The donations to FP conversion is there. Borde accepts PayPal. If you do this, make sure you notify the GM that you now have gold so he can add it to your party stats. Act quickly, though. Message me if you choose this option so I can be on the lookout for your stats update. If you act quickly enough maybe you can buy your tools when we go to the village.

Edit: Hey, you've got enough FP to get 25GP now. Jump on it, dude!

Everyone- I am in east central Florida and my area is under a hurricane watch. Charlie is expected to hit here Friday night/Saturday. Hopefully we won't lose power. If we do, please don't start without me!
