Malealexander, you really addicted boy . The first thing I do online is check my e-mail and then come to the forum to see what new replies we have. I check the forum probably twice a day mainly because I cannot use the computer much when I am with my son, he is a very demanding kid.
The intelectual discussions going on make me even more addicted. I really enjoy my time here and to know we have such a great group of posters!
Well, I originally joined just to play Medieval. I read the rule about the 30 minimum constructive post requirement and was a tad leery at first. My initial thoughts were: Is this simply a ploy to keep the community active? Am I going to be subjected to a bunch of mindless drivel? Are there really regularly active members here? Are they friendly or is it just another clique?
I took a calculated risk and posted a general Reader's Digest intro, not expecting much, if anything in the way of replies. I was pleasantly suprised to recieve such a warm welcome by some esteemed forum old-timers. Now I was more inclined to open up a bit by posting tidbits of my wierd life in the numerous threads. The rest, as they say, is history- still being written, and will be for a long time to come.
I've been here two months now, and have enjoyed every moment of it. Everyone I've interacted with here I'd love to meet IRL, seriously! I won't get all mushy on you folks right now, so this is where I stop. To answer the poll question, though, I feel bad if I do not log in for more than 24 hours, even though it's more like a few times a day. ]

Well, I have to get out of bed 15 - 30 minutes early so that I can have time to read and answer any posts that came in over night! If I don't get up early to do this, I do it any way and end up late!!!

I've had to pry myself away several times to actually go take care of the other RPG. But shhh...that's a secret. I easily get so addicted to forums if they're interesting and can keep my interest. So far, up until now, that had only been one, and I've been there for a little over three years. I love it, but there's a lot more younger people there, which means the overall maturity level is younger. It's a blessing to be able to come here and have an intellegent conversation without all the hastle of teenagers fighting, and then admins having to step in and it becomes a mess.
It's not hard to get addicted here at all.
As if I wasnt addicted to this forum enough, now I am in two RPG's and my addiction has only gotten worse. I am dreaming about these RPG scenarios, so much to the point that I have to check the forum the next day to make sure I was really dreaming. Kudos to the admin for pulling me in even further.
LDS_forever, I really cannot think of anyone more addicted to the forum than you, although Smudge is coming close . Anyone wants to here some of the stories of just how addicted LDS_forever is to this community?
