I admit I haven't seen either broccoli or spaghetti and meatball pizza available commercially, but then we don't live in the cultural center of the universe - as FunBickerChic does.

Well, Boston is called "The Hub" for a reason! Pizzaria Uno's sells broccoli pizza. I think that was the first place I ever tried it. The spaghetti and meatballs pizza is a specialty at a local mom & pop pizza joint.

I don't eat pizza that often, but the combination Kimsh has mentioned, mozzarella, tomatoes and basil or pesto, is the best, pizza or not.

Hawaiian style w/ ham is by far my favorite. I don't think I have ever tried half of the things you guys and girls put on Pizza.

baby artichokes and baby zucchini, spinach

I am an old fashion guy...I appreciate fantasy pizza but just for fun. The original Pizza made in some Italian restaurants with the mediterranean ingredients...that is the pizza for me!

Toppings Pizza Favorite

I love all kinds of toppings on pizza, but I'd have to say, that I especially enjoy a pizza with the following toppings, ham, pineapple and banana peppers. "Yum!"

I must admit pizza is one of my favoured foods but it is incredibly unhealthy. My favorite toppings have to be:-

pepperoni
chunks of chicken
cheese
tomato puree
red and green peppers

Some of these ingredients are required to make a pizza anyway but I thought I would put them in none the less.

Hmm, that sounds like something I'd like to try! Unfortunately, I'd probably have to travel far to get to an italian restaurant that offered pizza like that.

My absolute favorite is BBQ chicken garlic. My husband and I had it in a pizza place in Park City UT on our honeymoon. Now we try to imitate it with the Betty Crocker crust mix, but it's not as good of course. But still good! I have yet to find a pizza crust recipe that I really like, seems like they're all flat, and the Betty Crocker pack doesn't give you enough to make a decent crust (I love crust!).

I also do not go for the pineapple, I think it's mostly because I hate canned pineapple to begin with, and fresh pineapple would just be weird because - think about it - what other fruit is commonly put on pizza? fruit belongs on FRUIT pizza, you know, the kind with cookie crust and cream cheese sauce - YUM.

Have to say that I LOVE ham pizza though (w/o the pineapple of course).

I have to say, as a culinary student and chef of many years that the best pizza is probably the simplest. I know everyone thinks I am going to say something crazy, but I am going to have to go with a pepperoni and mushroom on thin crust with an ice cold beer. That is my favorite combination.
