Now tell me, who doesn't enjoy a wonderful, fresh-baked pizza? There's a pizza chain in Florida called CiCi's that can't be beat. They make their dough and sauce fresh daily. Their restaurants are all-you-can-eat buffets featuring many varieties of pizza, including dessert pizzas. There's also a salad bar and pasta. CiCi's also makes custom order pies at no additional cost- waaaay cool, considering my 6 y/o has a dairy allergy and has to have his made without cheese. Some of my favorites are their barbeque pizza, Philly Steak & Cheese, chicken club pizza, spinach w/ pepperoni and sausage, and supreme pizzas. Actually, I like almost anything on my pies, but still don't get the whole pineapple thing (Hawaiian style w/ ham). And don't ever come near me with those nasty, smelly anchovies! |
I would have to say that I equally love ham and pineapple, and also chicken with red and green peppers.
We have a restaurant chain called Pizza Hut here in the UK, they do a great deal at lunch time, they do an eat as much pizza as you like for around £4/ $2.50!
They do about 15-20 different types, what a bargain!
My favorite "usual" pizza is a good ole pepperoni and pineapple. I do love a good greek pizza. Feta is amazing on pizza. Pizza Hut has a good Buffalo Chicken pizza. Garlic chicken is tasty. And I usually love anything with a white or spinach sauce. I make a mean homemade pizza!
Ahhh pizza the world most perfect food. Where else can you get you meats, dairy products, vegetables, and bread all in every bite. I think a nice combination pizza with everything they can pile on it is very good. Makes me happy eating it that I know. I would love to really enjoy eating pizza again. Sometimes having no taste really sucks.
The pizza I had last night had pepperoni, sausage, canadian bacon, mushrooms, green peppers, onions, and three cheeses. It was very good. I was told it tasted wonderful. I also go to CiCi's pizza, Godfathers and Pizza Ranch pizza buffets. Where else can I fill teen boys up with food. All them are good places to eat.
Rather off topic, but... I think Krusten needs to eat more. She is always complaining about not having enough food in the camp thread. |
There is a place in Anchorage called The Moose's Tooth. It makes pretty good pizza. For lunch you can order a large slice of pizza and a salad for $7. A pretty good deal and quite filling. We usually will order from their once a week. Last week I had their "white pizza" with a Greek salad. The white pizza has a white sauce, of course, mozzarella cheese, marinated artichoke hearts and sun-dried tomatoes. It is all on a thin crust and is oh so very good! I am told their mushroom pizza with spinach sauce is even better. I will be trying that one next!
Just one slice of pizza and a salad fills you up? You must be a twig.
I rather enjoy all pizzas. Having lost my taste makes me more apt to eat just about anything. Then I will say "hey this is pretty good try it" Just to get a reaction. It is funny to watch at times.
I think the best pizza around me is the Pizza Ranch. They have a buffet style pizza with mashed tater, chicken and other stuff for those who do not just want pizza. Their cactus bread is really good and my family eats a whole large pizza of that alone.
