Young Lds Parents

"To you young women with small children, yours is a tremendous challenge.
So often there is not enough money. You must scrimp and save. You must
be wise and careful in your expenditures. You must be strong and bold and
brave and march forward with gladness in your eye and love in your heart. . .
May you be given strength to carry your heavy load, to meet every
obligation, to walk side by side with a good and faithful and caring man,
and together with him rear and nurture and bring up your children in
righteousness and truth. Nothing else you will ever own, no worldly thing
you will ever acquire will be worth so much as the love of your children.
God bless you, my dear, dear young mothers."

(Gordon B. Hinckley, "To the Women of the Church," Ensign, Nov. 2003, 114)

"The most powerful workers for peace may be faithful mothers and fathers.
Some of the most terrible crimes committed against humanity are the acts
of persons who have been scarred and twisted by the sins of others--often
their own parents or others who cared for them. Parents who lovingly care
for their own children or shelter foster children and raise them in
righteousness are working for peace. So are parents who teach their
children in the way King Benjamin counseled, to forgo conflicts and 'to
love one another, and to serve one another.' (Mosiah 4:15.)"

(Dallin H. Oaks, "World Peace," Ensign, May 1990, 73.)

Parents Lds Young

I have seen this happen many times - young people becoming fathers and mothers way before the time. Often the woman is the one stuck with more of the burden. More than usual it is a young woman that is a member and a boy who isn't, hence the constant suggestions of both parents and Prophets are always around group dating and dating those with the same beliefs and standards.

Young Lds Parents Studies Doctrine Mormon

Yes, but over the tears I have seen many LDS girls becoming pregnant by LDS boys sad.gif I know at least of 2 cases where they went and talk with the Bishop about it and he suggested to give up the baby for adoption even though the kids wanted to get married (they were only 16).
