I have a Dell Aero running the Android 1.5 Cupcake software. I will like to root it so that I can get access to other software on my phone but it is really hard.

I used to have one but could not figure out how to upgrade the phone to 2.2 so I got another phone. I saw the files on Dell to upgrade but I didn't understand the instructions to well.
